The Danny Mclaughlin Band is is the hottest new commodity in the North American Celtic fusion and World Music scene. The band from Queens NY. Since their creation in 2005, the band has played a lot of exciting and talked about shows and released the Celtic Fusion Album, 'Darkwood' which has had many exciting reviews the Album is fully instrumental but that soon to change with the band new singer and amazing vocalist Stephanie ST Hilaire.

The Band's live show is a different experience than most people are used to, with the Uillean pipes not seen that much in other Celtic groups. Though the pipes are a traditional, and a complex instrument they are played in a difference sense of the word on stage. Danny Mclaughlin was born in the UK, but spent many years living in Ireland. He has been playing the Uilleann (Irish) pipes (the devils instrument) and most complex form of pipes for 20 years. He comes from a long line of traditional musicians and pipers, the 'Carberrys' from CO Longford Ireland. He has played in a wide verity of countries, and shows, and has had the privilege of playing at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in flushing Queens in 2006, and 2007, and also this years event. There can only be great things to come from this array of great musicians in the future.
